Yes, that's fair. It is a different thing, and I don't mean to minimize that. But I was struck by how often I have the same feelings as that woman crying in her car. I still need my mom in many of the ways she does. If i'm in the hospital, my husband physically can't come take care of me because he's stuck doing double duty with our special needs kid and her 3-year-old sister. (The only reason he was at our second daughter's birth is my mom's willingness to move cities for the weeks surrounding her birth.) So, it's different, but I still have that nagging fear of 'who will possibly take care of me if something goes really wrong?'
